Unborn children who died after COVID19 vaccination

Last year, when I started keeping track of the CDC’s statement on deaths reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) from COVID19 vaccines, the number of deaths the CDC said were reported in the US was hundreds of deaths higher than the number of deaths reported according to my VAERS search. I was no expert at VAERS, but the search seemed straightforward enough—all US reports from COVID19 vaccines in the Event Category “Death,” shown below.

I wondered if the difference was due to some kind of processing delay, given the thousands of vaccine injuries being reported to VAERS each month from COVID19 vaccines, and set the issue aside for the time being.

As the months passed, the difference between the number of deaths reported according to the CDC, and the number of deaths reported according to my VAERS search, steadily increased, with the CDC always quoting a much higher number. Today, the CDC’s total is over 1800 deaths higher than my VAERS search result. That’s a lot of missing deaths—more than were reported to VAERS from all other vaccines combined for the last 10 years.

I had to be missing some deaths in my VAERS search, but where?

A regular commenter on a pro-vax blog. (Artist unknown)

Was I running the search correctly? I had some confirmation the other day that I was. I used the CDC’s number in a comment on a pro-vax blog about deaths reported to VAERS, and one of the regular ‘higher-functioning’ commenters ran a VAERS search and accused me of inflating the number—they got the same lower results I did.

I’ve heard rumors of a huge backlog of VAERS reports that have not yet been entered into the VAERS system—if so, maybe the CDC is including those deaths, even though they don’t show up yet in VAERS. This is just speculation—I don’t have any evidence of that one way or the other.

Were fetal deaths included?

A 10 week old fetus in the amniotic sac, removed during a hysterectomy to treat carcinoma. What do you feel when you look at this photo of an unborn baby about to die? Does it matter if this baby will pass away naturally, or be eviscerated alive in the name of medical research?

There is another possibility—although again, just speculation—that the CDC included the deaths of unborn babies in their death total, even though these events were not categorized as “deaths” in VAERS. I got this idea from the excellent work of Brian Shilhavy of Health Impact News, who showed that thousands of fetal deaths have been reported to VAERS after COVID19 vaccination.

The CDC’s statement on deaths reported to VAERS from COVID19 vaccines seems like a CYA attempt to me—a disclosure of the total number of reported deaths, to potentially refute any allegations they concealed serious vaccine risks.

But it’s a devious attempt, because although the numbers alone are shocking to people who’ve only heard the vaccines are ‘safe and effective,’ they aren’t nearly as shocking as they would be if the CDC gave the numbers some context, which of course they don’t.

The CDC doesn’t tell us that more deaths have been reported to VAERS from the COVID19 vaccines in the last 19 months than from all other vaccines combined for the last 31 years. They also don’t tell us that only a “small fraction” of vaccine injuries are reported (1). They reassure us VAERS is “our nation’s early warning system for vaccine safety,” but keep this fundamental information secret.

Apparently, the CDC doesn’t have a good explanation for the massive increase in death reports that doesn’t involve genocide.

How many fetal deaths were reported in the US?

To see whether deaths of the unborn were included in a regular VAERS search for deaths, I first ran a search for all fetal deaths reported in the US from COVID19 vaccines, shown below. 1,462 were reported.

Bear in mind two things:

  1. Since only a small fraction of vaccine injuries are reported, the actual number is probably somewhere between 14,620 and 146,200 fetal deaths;

  2. Reports to VAERS don’t prove the vaccine caused the injury. Coincidental fetal deaths reported to VAERS are an unknown, because the CDC doesn’t publish those analyses—if there are any. Coincidental fetal deaths, if any, should be subtracted from the estimates above.

A VAERS search of this kind is not a straightforward thing—you have to figure out which of thousands of symptoms (which are only listed alphabetically and not by category or type) involve what you are looking for, and hope you find all of them—as I’ve said before, the designers of VAERS were masters of obfuscation. A list of the symptoms I searched for are in Note 2, as well as in the search Query Criteria.

The results show the vast majority of reports were spontaneous abortions (miscarriages), fetal deaths or stillbirths.

Almost none of those fetal deaths were included in a VAERS search for Event Category “Death,” shown in the results below. I didn’t read the 7 reports that were included, but perhaps the vaccine recipient (the mother) died, causing the death of her unborn baby.

It came as no surprise to find out that more deaths of unborn children have been reported from COVID19 vaccines than from all other vaccines combined for the last 31 years. From 1991 through 2020, 1,194 fetal deaths were reported in the US, compared to 1,496 deaths reported in 2021 and 2022, most from the COVID19 vaccines.

I don’t know if fetal deaths are the explanation for the CDC’s higher VAERS death report number, but it was a good opportunity to raise awareness of fetal deaths after COVID19 vaccination. Don’t expect to hear about it from the CDC or FDA, or from CNN or FOX, or from your obstetrician who so desperately wants to inject you.
