Eight years in academia
Many moons ago, I studied psychology and law in a graduate program that trained people for policy-making and research positions—top students were headed for places like the Council on Foreign Relations, the United Nations, academia and private industry. I spent 4 years earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado, and another 4 years earning a master’s in social and personality psychology and a juris doctor (doctor of law) from the University of Nebraska.

One of our projects in grad school was to design pro-vaccine laws, policies and propaganda. Of course, we didn’t call it “propaganda”—that would have sounded smarmy. I don’t remember what we did call it—probably something like “saving the world.”
Vaccines were safe and effective and saved lives—everyone knew that: all the students, including me; professors; researchers; doctors; pundits; reporters; celebrities.
It was a very small class with unlimited opportunity for discussion, yet, to the best of my recollection, there was no serious discussion about vaccine risks, or about the science behind vaccination. We trusted and assumed that “increasing vaccine uptake” was a good thing supported by a lot of good science.
This deep, blind faith in vaccination was the natural result of a lifetime of vaccine indoctrination from cradle to grave.

Let’s take a moment to consider the dark hilarity of the situation: We were a group of brainwashed would-be experts, trained by brainwashed experts, designing ways to brainwash people. That’s how massive deceptions are perpetuated in academia.

I don’t mean to imply that all experts and professors and such were brainwashed about vaccines—I’m sure a few knew their horrific real purpose—to keep humanity weak, obedient and culled.
Today, we have industry trolls infesting the internet, basically leading the online dialogue about vaccination, along with algorithms that generate and evaluate content (robots), the media, and celebrity endorsements. All are toxic, but trolls and algorithms are particularly toxic, because their methods focus heavily on public humiliation and degradation of anyone who challenges the vaccine status quo. The public follows their lead on ‘appropriate’ behavior, which in this case is extremely divisive and unproductive.
This is actually the best and only course of action available to vaccine industry trolls—they cannot engage in a civil, rational debate about the evidence, because the objective weight of the evidence is never on their side. It goes in their favor that social approval is a very strong motivator for most people, who are terrified of being the target of an obnoxious troll’s ridicule.
Some trolls are brainwashed, and some are corrupt. I can’t do anything about corruption, and I can’t change the mind of robots, because they have none. But I might be able to help the brainwashed. A key symptom of brainwashing is the inability to recognize it in ourselves, and in other brainwashed people. This is especially true when the brainwashing is so longstanding and widespread, it’s literally ‘normal.’
I’m here to save the world again
I can recognize vaccine brainwashing easily in others, both because of my training, and because I used to be brainwashed myself. Therefore, as a public service, I’ve developed a new self-test for vaccine brainwashing, which people can take in the privacy of their own homes. It’s called “You might be brainwashed if…” The exercise is in keeping with my usual philosophy of dignity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive subjects.
You might be brainwashed if…
This exercise starts with an email from me to you that says:
“More deaths and serious injuries have been reported to VAERS from the COVID19 vaccines in the last 18 months than from all other vaccines combined for the last 31 years. The proof is on my CVax Risk page.”
What is your response?

ONE: If you respond by sending me a PolitiFact article on the dangers of conspiracy theories, I’m sorry to tell you that you might be brainwashed. By which I mean, you are definitely brainwashed.

FOUR: Finally, if you are unable or unwilling to simply acknowledge the fact that, yes, it’s indeed true that more deaths and serious injuries have been reported to VAERS from the COVID19 vaccines in the last 18 months than from all other vaccines combined for the last 31 years, then I have the unpleasant duty to inform you that you are deeply brainwashed.
Your brainwashing is so deep, no commonsense neurons can survive there.
Your brainwashing is so deep, Plato would need spelunking gear to get there.
Your brainwashing is so deep, if you cried out for help, the sound waves wouldn’t reach reality for 3 days.
Summary
If you aren’t brainwashed, you may have noticed that this exercise is not about your views on vaccination—it’s about your willingness to acknowledge an objective and indisputable fact. The fact may sound adverse to vaccination, but I made no claim that it was—I just informed you of the fact.
Your acknowledgement of the fact can be followed by any kind of opinions or evidence you like about what it means, but in order to do that, you must first acknowledge the fact. If you can’t or won’t do it, that is the indicator of brainwashing.
I hope this exercise will help the vaccine brainwashed in some small way—or at least make them irrationally furious. Either way, I’ll know I’ve made a difference. Leave your success stories in comments!

(1) Serious events reported to VAERS:
2 VAERS database searches were done, one for all serious injuries reported and one for serious injuries from COVID19 vaccines, which were subtracted from the whole. Reports are classified as “serious” if any of the following occur: Death, Permanent Disability, Life Threatening, Hospitalized, Existing Hospitalization Prolonged, Congenital Anomaly or Birth Defect.
